Welcome!

The first Imagine Currituck survey was a tremendous success! We received over 1,790 responses.

A second survey is currently being developed that will allow you to review and provide feedback on draft policies and concepts to be included in the plan. This survey will be available by the end of August 2018. Please check back and provide your input!

There are two major parts to this survey:

1) Questionnaire
The first Imagine Currituck questionnaire is now closed. Thanks to everyone who completed the survey. A second survey is currently being developed and will be available at the end of August 2018.

 

2) Interactive Map
The interactive map will allow you to place markers at a specific location, then identify them as either an “idea, insight, or barrier” and submit a comment accordingly. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the map and share YOUR ideas, insights, and barriers on the interactive map.

How it Works
In the upper left-hand corner is a tool bar.

Adding a Comment
Select the marker tool and click map where you would like to provide a comment.

 

Editing Your Comments
After making the comment, you can drag the marker anywhere on the map. If you’d like to change your comment, select the edit box. If you would like to delete comment, select the delete button.

Sharing Your Ideas
After placing a mark on the map, a box will appear. Then use the drop-down menu to categorize your comment as either an “idea, insight, or barrier” and write a comment accordingly.

There’s no time limit or comment limit. You can keep coming back to make comments, which will be collected through September 2016.

  • Ideas = Something you think would help create the Currituck you IMAGINE.
  • Insights = Something local leaders and planners should be aware of.
  • Barriers = Something you think is an obstacle to how you IMAGINE a future Currituck County.

How it Works

In the upper left-hand corner is a tool bar [insert screen shot of tool bar with a label for each item: zoom in, out, draw a marker, etc.]. Select the marker tool and click map where you would like to provide a comment. After clicking the map, a box will appear. In the box you will use the drop-down menu to categorize your comment as either an “idea, insight, or barrier” [insert screen shot of drop-down] then write a comment accordingly.
